Robert Ortiz

Certified Audiology Aide - Patient Care Coordinator - Rancho Cucamonga office.

I have the pleasure of working as a licensed audiology aide for Audiologist Kevin Townsend in the Rancho Cucamonga location. I started working with the company 3 years ago. This has been the most rewarding experience in my career. I enjoy working with my hands, and this position is hands-on. I have to say the most rewarding part is the positive outcome; we change people’s lives within a few seconds or an hour. I know many people are trying to find the right job and most are not happy where they are, but I can honestly say that I am very happy with what I am doing and where I am. It’s truly astonishing to see how much Hearing can change a person’s life. In the last 3 years, I’ve witnessed withdrawal, depression, anxiety, and anger from the lack of proper hearing and lack of understanding and proper help. Those patients that come our way come to us because we improve their quality of life and they come to us because they know our team cares and Doctors of Hearing is also known for being the best in town to help with their hearing needs.
I am glad to be part of a team of people whose mission is to deliver a better quality of life. Doctors of Hearing has allowed me to experience and be able to deliver outstanding quality of care, and I have witnessed how much work, patience, and dedication goes into helping our patients. I am blessed to work with Audiologist Kevin Townsend and Dr. Norma Camacho because they both deliver superb quality care. Their patients love them, respect them, and trust in their experience and expertise. Most of their patients have been bringing their friends and families to them for years because they know Doctors of Hearing genuinely cares. They are both now seeing their patient's, adult sons and daughters as well as their grandchildren. Dr. Norma and Audiologist Kevin are wonderful people; they treat their patients with respect and patience, they also treat all of us (employees) like family. I love working for this small family business. Doctors of hearing has inspired me to continue in this industry and in the future, I plan to become an Audiologist and work for DOH.On a personal note, in my spare time, I enjoy cooking, watching movies, or just simply being outdoors having fun with friends and my family.
